Monday We kinda got jipped because everyone in their district made their own plans and left us alone. With nothing else to do but see the dirt hills, we went to El Olivar and took a lot of naps. Tuesday Today was the big debate about Victor's baptism. We've been teaching him for about three months and planned the baptism for this Saturday, with the invitations ready and everything. Well, since the ward boundaries are changing, we had to pass the baptism on to the other elders. We're very happy he was baptized, but very sad that we couldn't be there after teaching him all the lessons and preparing him. The important thing is that he made this covenant with God. Monday Boring day. It was good to rest, but the district was busy with their own things, so we just shopped, cleaned, and ate El Olivar. Solid stuff. Tuesday District Counsel. Elder Nelson basically aimed it towards the Hermanas who didn't find basically anyone this week. Funny thing is that they weren't paying attention. After, we got El Olivar once again but as a district. It was just as bussin as the first time. We spent the day visiting some inactive families and getting to know them. We then got some references from Hermana Ruth who lately has been going dummy with the missionaries. We then called it a night with Hermana Susan, asking about how she felt after her baptism. Visits with her are always super good. Wednesday First up was Dylan and Jesus, who want to get baptized but haven't been going to church, which is a problem. Monday Well, we were gonna do normal Pday activities but our DL got the Hermanas mad at him so they didn't show up to volleyball and it ended up being pretty boring without them and their friends haha. Shoot. At least we always have El Olivar to make up for slow Pdays. After that it was just naps and family before ending Pday and having a little Family Home Evening with some inactives. Monday Started the week off strong by waking up to an earthquake! It was only a 5.1, so not crazy, but it still kind of spooked me. Also, I got to cross that off my bucket list because the last earthquake like that I’ve been in, I slept through haha. Today we just played volleyball and ate at El Olivar. Solid P-day activities. Then that night we got to see a mission call opening of one of our favorite member families here. She's doing a service mission here in Peru, so that'll be fun to be able to work with her, especially since she helps us a lot with lessons already. Monday P-day! We met up as a district, got some members together, and played volleyball. Pretty lit. After that, we hit up El Olivar (of course). After calling family and taking naps, we went over to the Gonzales for a quick family home evening, and we were told that it was Beatriz's birthday! She didn't want us to get her anything but had us sing to her in English, so that's exactly what we did as we enjoyed our Tres Leches. Pretty awesome night. Tuesday It was honestly a super slow day, but that night there was a volleyball activity that we invited some of our friends to, and that was lots of fun. We didn't stay too long because we had other lessons, but unfortunately, some fell through. Then, as we were walking by, a huge group of kids was playing volleyball just over a tiny fence.
