Just received transfer news not too long ago, and it turns out I'm staying for a 4th transfer as district monkey again. I don't know anything about my new companion, so I'll talk more about him next week. Anyways, on to this week... Monday Once again full of soccer, and this time we had a lot more people show up. I wouldn't say I've gotten too much better at it, and this 50-year-old member who was playing with us was just yelling at me the entire time, so that was kind of obnoxious, but it was still fun. After, we got KFC with the district and ZLs, and that was a lot of fun too. After that, it was just the usual shopping, calls, and naps. Elder Baldeon hurt his leg pretty bad playing soccer, so he insisted that for the last hour of proselyting, we'd just do some calls, and so that's how we finished the night. Tuesday National Men's Day in Peru. RAWWWW. The day wasn't different at all besides a couple of our friends telling us thanks, haha. Normal day...

We made it another week in Peru! I've been trying to grind hard in Spanish and in my studies so that I can feel more useful in the work. Sometimes I just feel like a bag of potatoes that my comp is carrying around, and that's something I'm waiting for to change. I dedicated these 2 years to change lives and not to take an 8-hour walk every day in Peru, so there are a lot of things I'm trying to improve. Anyways, let's get to the week! Monday It was honestly a pretty slow P-day. Usually, we'd play soccer, but we realized that nobody was going to come, so we canceled. We went to Plazavea, which is the store we shop at, and it also had food courts above. We got shopping done, then celebrated with ice cream. For lunch, we went to Ricardo's house, who’s a member we just reactivated, and he's pretty awesome. He made Chilean soup, and it was bussin. His mom is so sweet and gave us bread and told us stories as we were eating. After that, it was just naps and cal...

BIRTHDAY SHOUTOUT TO OWEN MITCHELL RAWWWWWW Hope you have a good birthday, bro. Another week in Peru, let's get into it... Monday We changed up what we were doing for P-day—instead of playing soccer, we went to a house in the hermana's area and ate tacos. The family was so sweet. The tacos were made by this old lady who cried during the opening prayer and continued to tell us stories (and jokes) as we ate. As usual, we just talked to fam and took naps after. When we got back to proselyting, we had a family home evening with this semi-inactive family about Lehi's dream, and it went super well! We hope to see them in church more. Tuesday We've been stuck with cold showers all week, and this morning we learned that that's going to change for another week. Womp womp. We had district council, which was boring, but after, we all went to KFC as a district, and that was super fun. When we got to work, we had a lesson in this apartment that we don't have access to, so we...

BIRTHDAY SHOUTOUT TO MELINDA MITCHELL RAWWWWW My mom just had her birthday this last Halloween and I can't think of a more wholesome angel who's been born on this earth than her! Alright, let's get into this week... Monday For Pday, we played soccer (what a surprise), but it was actually a lot of fun because lots of people pulled up. I don't like playing when there's just a few of us because soccer is the only sport where I'm scared of the ball. We were going to have lunch as a district, but we're all broke, so we just went our separate ways instead. When we got back to the house, we took cold showers because our water heater is broken, which is devastating! We then called our family and slept before ending Pday. For our hour of proselyting, we just hit a few contacts before running into a member and talking with her for a while. Well, as we were talking to her, the power went out in the entire city, and it was literally pitch black! Very fitting for the wee...
