NATHAN BOREN'S BIRTHDAY TODAY RAAAAAAWWWWWW🔥🔥🔥💯💯 Sorry, just had to give that shout out before starting the email. Anyways, this week has been good, so let's get into it... Monday Started off the week with the usual Pday shenanigans. We paid for the soccer field, but when we pulled up to play, all who were there were the other Elders and the 14-year-old son of our penchanista. Thankfully, people started to slowly trickle in, but for the first little bit, it was pretty awkward. Elder Baldeon wanted to eat lunch at another Menù in our area instead of our usual spot, but we all vetoed him and went to El Olivar because it's tradition. Rest of Pday was talking to fam until getting back to work again. We spent the rest of the night at our Patriarch’s house, and we were there for like 2 hours while he was just sitting out prophesies or something. This week was pretty basic, and I forgot to write in my journal, so it'll probably be Monday Today we spent the morning playing soccer. I'm the absolute worst soccer player, but it was fun. I also got to get good at it because Elder Baldeon loves soccer, and I'm sure that's what we'll be doing for the next few P-days. Man, I got burned though. The weather is starting to warm up here, but because of the humidity, it's burning hot during the day but freezing cold at night. The rest of P-day was just eating lunch and talking with family. Wednesday When we were eating lunch at our Panchanista's place, it was just her son David who was there. He was just playing the electric guitar, and we were giving him song suggestions, so that was a lot of fun. Monday P-day, we started the morning by getting transfer news and... I'm staying in my area and getting a new companion! His name is Elder Baldeon, and I don't know much about him except that he only speaks Spanish, so this transfer will be a lot different. The rest of P-day consisted of playing spikeball, domination, eating lunch, and talking to family. Tuesday Since transfers didn't officially start until Wednesday, Tuesday was Elder Wilkens' last day in Deporte. We spent the whole day visiting our friends in the area. First, we visited Crazy Carolina, who was pretty much yelling the entire time. Then we went to see our recent converts Pamela and Renzo, where we taught a quick lesson before eating and dancing to whatever song Renzo played for us. It was a party! We finished with a visit to Andre’s, where we talked about the Book of Mormon and took pictures together. We ended the night with a lore dump from Elder Wilkens. It was lit. Monday P-day ended up being really fun! We all met up as a district and played spikeball for a couple of hours. Elder Wilkens and I destroyed the district 2v2, so we ended up going 1v1 against each other. It was such a close game that I was literally sweating, but I came out on top, 12-14. We then all got lunch together and played Cover Your Assets while we were there. Fun fact: one of the Hermanas in our district's grandpa is the guy who created Cover Your Assets along with the other games, so that's lit.
